Stronger

A Journey to Iceland

In collaboration with the Ghetto Film School, Konsonant Music, Bleeding Fingers Music, and Sony Music, Peter had the opportunity to score a film which was shot abroad in beautiful Iceland. He decided that this music was going to call for a rich sound world that could capture that imagery. The score for Stronger features a string quintet and solo piano, an instrumental pairing drawing parallels to Hilda’s struggles amidst the rugged landscape of Iceland. This score intends to create a sense of vast space and ancient geology, but also to empathize with the characters. This balance is what makes this score so special. There are things to conquer, external and internal. Hilda transforms through the course of this film, and the hope is that this music conveyed that experience.
